Age Classes Defined by FCA

4.2.3 Age Restrictions [FCA Note – The following age classes are the same as FITA’s for Master, Senior, Junior and Cadet. Only the wording differs. Any prior definitions of age classes in terms of age on January 1 are incorrect.]

4.2.3.1 To compete as a Master, a person must be 50 or older on December 31 of the current year.

4.2.3.2 Any athlete may compete as Senior.

4.2.3.3 To compete as a Junior, a person must be 18 or younger on December 31 of the current year.

4.2.3.4 To compete as a Cadet, a person must be 16 or younger on December 31 of the current year.

4.2.3.5 To compete as a Cub, a person must be 14 or younger on December 31 of the current year.

4.2.3.6 To compete as a Pre-Cub, a person must be 12 or younger on December 31 of the current year

4.2.3.7 To compete as a Peewee, a person must be 9 or younger on December 31 of the current year.
